Posio area is one of the most unique nature destinations to visit in Finland. It is located in southern Lapland just below the arctic circle. Riisitunturi national park, Korouoma canyon and the majestic lake Kitka are great places to visit both in summer and in wintertime. A must go summer destination is lake Livojärvi with its one kilometer wide sandy beaches and clear waters. If you are into fishing, you can try catch the giant pikes of lake Kitka on a fishing adventure with our collaborator Posioutdoors. In wintertime you can spend an memorable day on a frozen lake and get to know the secrets of traditional winter fishing. There are also plenty of beautiful natural sites at the area where you can enjoy the peace of nature and the forests, hills and lakes of Lapland. Check out the Posiolapland site for more info.
